We Are Looking For

We’re seeking a Growth Manager to lead customer acquisition and retention across all channels, including paid social, search, content, and email. The ideal candidate will have deep domain experience across paid platforms, tools, and ad technologies. Working with our Product and Development teams, you will conceive, manage, analyze, and optimize campaigns to drive the overall customer growth in line with our brand strategy and financial goals. You will be responsible for understanding all aspects of product and business. Owning growth project deliverables, and generating insights that inform product and business decisions across the company are essentials of the role. In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will bring creative thinking to all marketing campaign planning. This is a highly entrepreneurial position that will require you to assume a number of different roles. The position requires you to be a 50% marketer, 25% engineer and 25% data scientist in order to handle the complex digital environments.

Typical Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic acquisition and retention marketing plans to drive user and revenue growth and maximize immediate and long-term ROI
  • Lead campaigns end-to-end from conception to defining objectives, creating action plans, designing tests, executing, tracking and reporting
  • Day-to-day management of online and offline campaigns across channels including (but not limited to): paid social, paid search, content, organic, referral, email, direct mail, podcasts, affiliate, and video
  • Continuously test and optimize new channels, audiences, bidding strategies, visual creative, and copy
  • Analyze the entire spectrum of the conversion funnel to identify the biggest areas of improvement, and implement strategies
  • Lead overall site conversion rate optimization and develop and optimize landing page strategy
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs to ensure marketing initiatives are driving profitable acquisition
  • Use web analytics and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics and internal dashboards to better understand our customers and exploit those insights in marketing campaigns
  • Champion data-driven analysis and decision-making throughout the organization
  • Think strategically, analytically, and creatively about new ways to reach customers and increase the relevance
  • Leverage data to understand our products in-depth, identify areas of growth opportunities, decide priorities, test hypotheses, and execute projects to drive user growth and revenue
  • Build the company’s data engine to measure all KPIs through the customer journey from the initial visit on the website to purchase, retention, and advocacy
  • Work closely with the Sales team on pursuing various digital channels to drive traffic and generate qualified leads

Required

  • 3+ years of growth-focused experience managing the organic and paid acquisition
  • Core understanding of subscription products, KPIs and customer lifecycle marketing
  • Experience designing and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Experience in initiating and driving growth projects to completion with minimal guidance
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting, and leveraging data to make business decisions
  • Experience effectively communicating insights and ideas, verbally and in presentations
  • Experience building a comprehensive digital marketing strategy from the ground up.
  • Proven success managing online marketing programs with CPC, CPA, and CPM cost models on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and content sites.
  • Expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Search Console, Intercom, Hubspot, SEOMonitor and similar tools.
  • Thorough understanding of various online and offline marketing funnels.
  • Very data driven and should be curious about and tell stories using data.
  • Sensitivity to potential trade-offs between performance and branding.
  • Experience managing organic acquisition, including SEO and CRO.
  • Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in SaaS B2B and/or SaaS B2C and startup experience
  • Basic understanding of Product Development processes
  • Copywriting experience
  • Knowledge of basic database systems and the ability to connect and process data throughout different systems is a plus
  • Work experience with startups or understanding of main principles about how a startup functions
  • Familiarity with the freelance market and challenges
